The Barnes Foundation opened its new building in May 2012 on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. It houses one of the finest private collections of early French-Modern and Postimpressionist paintings in the world. The collection also includes pieces of antique furniture, pottery, and African sculpture.

Tours
Docent led tours are available by reservation. Audio tours are available in English, Spanish, French, and Japanese. Download the application in iOS or Google Play.

For groups of 15–45
Private tours of the collection during public hours are led by docents and staff. The tours last approximately one hour and can be customized from a range of themes.

In our newest exclusive offering, tour the Barnes outside of public hours at your own pace with easy-to-use digital audio guides that provide expert commentary, music, and art history references.

In the most exclusive of the group opportunities, you can enjoy an intimate, specialized tour of the collection outside of public hours. Led by docents and staff, your tour will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
