NORTHEAST QUALIFIER (NEQ) VOLLEYBALL

  • March 17-20 & 24-27
  • The Pennsylvania Convention Center will host the 2016 ASICS NEQ. The Northeast Qualifier is highly competitive national championship qualifier tournament that hosts 860 teams, 8,600 participants and 34,000 spectators. The best indoor junior female volleyball athletes, their coaches, college coaches and their friends and families travel from around the country to be a part of this.

NCAA DIVISION I MEN'S BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS EAST REGIONALS

  • March 25 & 27
  • Philadelphia will host the 2016 Men's Basketball East Regional at the Wells Fargo Center. LaSalle University will be the host institution. This marks the first time that Philadelphia will host the East Regional since 2001. Philadelphia has a storied history with the Men's Basketball Tournament, having hosted the event 27 times since 1939, most recently when Temple University hosted the second and third rounds at the Wells Fargo Center in 2013.

AMERIKICK INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

  • April 1-2
  • AmeriKick Internationals Karate Championships returns to the Pennsylvania Convention Center and you are invited! AmeriKick is home to the trick battle, traditional forms challenge and the highly competitive black belt sparring divisions. Who will win the coveted Crystal Cup and thousands of dollars in prize money?

PHILADELPHIA COACHES CONFERENCE

  • May 17
  • The Philadelphia Coaches Conference is an annual event organized by the Drexel University Center for Hospitality and Sport Management. The event is run “by coaches for coaches,” in an effort to bring together aspiring coaches of all levels and in a variety of sports for the purpose of professional development and growth through a series of educational sessions led by a diverse group of experienced and knowledgeable coaches.

NCAA MEN'S LACROSSE CHAMPIONSHIPS

  • May 28-30
  • The 2016 NCAA Divisions I, II, III Men’s Lacrosse Championships are hosted by Drexel University and will be held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Division I quarterfinal winners will compete in semifinal matches May 28. The Division II and Division III national championship games will be conducted May 29, and the national championship match of the NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Championship will be played on Memorial Day, May 30.

NCAA WOMEN'S LACROSSE CHAMPIONSHIPS

  • May 27-29
  • The 2015 NCAA Division I/III Women’s Lacrosse Championships are hosted by Saint Joseph’s University and will be held at Talen Energy Stadium (formerly PPL Park) in Philadelphia. Division I semifinals will take place on May 27, and Division DIII will take place May 28. The Division I and III National Championships will take place May 29.

PENN MUTUAL COLLEGIATE RUGBY SEVENS CHAMPIONSHIPS

  • June 4-5
  • Philadelphia is proud to welcome back the Collegiate Rugby Championship (CRC), the largest Rugby 7’s collegiate rugby championship in the United States. Now called Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Sevens, this will be CRC’s sixth year at Philadelphia’s Talen Energy Stadium (formerly PPL Park). With the return of Rugby 7's to the 2016 Olympic Games, the Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship is part of a nationwide effort to build American rugby talent in preparation for the Olympics.

COPA AMERICA CENTENARIO

  • June 9, 11 and 14
  • Philadelphia has been selected as a host city for the Copa America Centenario. Some of the world's best soccer players will play at Lincoln Financial Field in this 100-year anniversary of the historic tournament. Philadelphia will host group matches on June 9: Uruguay vs. Venezuela, June 11: USA vs. Paraguay and June 14: Chile vs. Panama.

Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS (golf)

  • June 9-12
  • Philadelphia Cricket Club welcomes the Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship for the first time June 9-12.

U.S. WOMEN'S AMATEUR (golf)

  • Aug. 1-7
  • The Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield, Pa., will host the 2016 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship Aug. 1–7.

ARMY-NAVY CUP

  • Fall
  • For the fifth straight year, the Army and Navy men’s soccer teams will square off in what is sure to be another nail-biter at Talen Energy Stadium (formerly PPL Park), home of the Philadelphia Union. Come be a part of the rivalry and excitement!

U.S. OPEN SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIPS

  • October
  • Drexel University will host the 2016 U.S. Open Squash Championships, the most prestigious squash tournament in the country at the newly renovated Daskalakis Athletic Center in downtown Philadelphia.
