NJ’s Official Tall Ship A.J. Meerwald offers public and educational sails along the Delaware River, departing from Independence Seaport Museum (ISM) docks at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia. Experience history aboard this authentically restored 1928 Delaware Bay oyster schooner. Help hoist the sails or sit back ... and relax. Once aboard, the crew shares the boat’s rich maritime history, the shellfish industry along the Delaware River and Bay, and the culture of those who lived and worked in the industry.
