2024 Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau & Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority Annual Report

In 2024, the PHLCVB was responsible for bringing nearly 550,000 attendees to the city through meetings, conventions and sporting events. Attendees spent $410 million locally and generated an economic impact of $636 million across Philadelphia.

International visitation made significant strides in 2024, attracting more than 1.2 million international visitors who spent $680.5 million in the region, generating an economic impact of $1.2 billion.

Hospitality continues to be one of the city’s vital employment sectors, supporting over 77,000 jobs in Philadelphia County.

This report was produced in conjunction with our partners at the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority and represents our combined efforts to promote Philadelphia as a top destination for meetings, conventions, sporting events, and international visitors, to produce a positive economic impact for the city and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
