Forrest Theatre

Description

Built in 1927 by the Shubert Organization, the 1,800-seat Forrest Theatre is one of Philadelphia’s premier venues for Broadway touring productions. Many musicals, dramas, and comedies have been launched from the Forrest Theatre. Yiddish Theatre, one man shows, dance programs, Gilbert and Sullivan productions, and the Philadelphia Orchestra have all graced this stage.

Since 2007, Shubert has partnered with the Kimmel Center to offer a first-class Broadway Series at the Forrest.
