Tour our house, view our garden, feed our koi! Shofuso Japanese House and Garden is a traditional-style Japanese house and nationally-ranked garden in Philadelphia's West Fairmount Park. This extraordinary historic landmark reflects not only Japanese art and culture but also the history of Japanese culture in Philadelphia. Standing on the site of the first Japanese garden in North America, Shofuso and the surrounding area holds some of the last traces of the 1876 Centennial Exposition.
