Established in 1884, the Philadelphia Tribune continues its mission by providing news and information while expressing the needs and concerns of the African American community. It is the largest daily newspaper serving this important audience. The Philadelphia Tribune is published five days a week. In addition to the newspaper, the Tribune publishes a monthly magazine, Tribune Magazine, Sojourner, a quarter issued visitors guide to the region and several monthly supplements.
