Philadelphia Stars Negro League Memorial Park

Description

The Philadelphia Stars Negro League Memorial Park, at the historic 44th and Parkside site, commemorates the history of Negro League ball. Read the words of MLB's Commissioner and the President of the Philadelphia Phillies on the back of the black granite walls arching the 7 ft. high statue. Jackie Robinson Day is commemorated every April 15th at the Park.
