Beyond the Bell Tours is a social enterprise committed to Putting the People Back in People’s History. We create inclusive historical tours of Philadelphia highlighting marginalized communities, peoples, and histories. We tell stories of people we love and admire. People who have shaped our city through movements, activism, and resistance. All of our tours have group rates available and are wheelchair accessible upon request. 

The Badass Women's History Tour 

Come on a Feminist History Tour and learn about the ways in which women have influenced and formed the city of Philadelphia. The Beyond the (Liberty) Bell Tour

Hit all the main sites in historic Old City and Independence Park, but hear it all from the perspectives often left out of mainstream tourism.

Beyond the Bell Tours is inspired by the stories that go untold in Philadelphia. The tours are designed to include and to share the incredible stories of women, people of color, queer folks and indigenous peoples who have made Philadelphia the city that we know and love.
