Rosy’s Taco Bar is a casual, contemporary Mexican restaurant in Center City, serving authentic tacos, small plates, and entrees in a vibrant setting. An extensive beverage menu features seasonal rotating margaritas, sangria, draft beers, mezcal, and much more. Rosy’s also offers specials every day of the week, including $1 Taco Tuesdays, Wednesday night Quizzo, and Borracho Brunch on ... the weekends. Our outdoor sidewalk patio seats 80 people and is dog-friendly! Rosy’s was named after James “Rosy” Roosevelt, the “aimless yet charming” older half-brother of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. According to popular legend, Rosy was an early champion of the unfamiliar delicacy commonly referred to as “tacos,” which he discovered on a flight of passion from his native New York to Mexico.
