Its physicians and staff provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services to patients from the Philadelphia region and beyond – including highly specialized, tertiary- and quaternary-care services in Cardiovascular Disease; Cancer; Digestive Diseases; Neurosciences; Orthopaedics; Pulmonary; Transplantation; Bone Marrow Transplant; and Bariatric Surgery. TUH is the only Level-I Trauma Center in Philadelphia with both a trauma and adult burn unit. Among TUH’s many recognitions are the following: Named by The Joint Commission as one of the nation’s Top Performers on Key Quality Measures (only 44 hospitals nationwide, and four in Pennsylvania, achieved this level of recognition).
