Philadelphia's Dining Weeks

For a few days each year, some of Philadelphia’s most renowned restaurants offer outstanding meals at deliciously discounted prices. Try not to salivate too much when debating where to make a reservation, then enjoy filling up on fantastic food without emptying your wallet. And whether it’s restaurant week or not, you can always find the best Philadelphia has to offer in our dining guide.

Center City District Restaurant Week

Price: $35 per person dinner, $20 per person lunch
When: Fall and Winter
Participants: Every September to October and at the end of January, Center City District Restaurant Week allows food lovers to savor some of the City’s tastiest cuisines without breaking the bank. Enjoy dinner at one of Philadelphia’s many premier dining destinations and a diverse range of flavors, from local favorites to global specialties.

Nearly 200 restaurants across Center City offer special menus with a prix-fixe, three-course dinner for just $35 per person. Be sure to make a reservation early – excited diners often book their tables weeks in advance.

University City Dining Days

Price: $15, $25, or $30 per person
When: Annually in July
Participants: Just across the Schuylkill River from Center City you’ll find University City — a district filled with smaller, more intimate restaurants with global flare. Every July during Dining Days, participating venues serve three-course meals at one of three fixed prices: $15, $25, or $30 per person. At these prices, everyone in University City and Philadelphia can indulge themselves in the West Philadelphia neighborhood. While the $15 meals give you a taste of some of the best local breweries and cafés, the higher priced meals allow you to sink your teeth into dishes from some of the City’s best restaurants.

Center City District Sips

When: Wednesdays in June, July and August
Participants: Every Wednesday, from June through August, more than 70 restaurants and bars across Center City celebrate summer with Sips, a weekly happy hour from 5-7 p.m. Each venue serves up drink and appetizer specials with a range of unique atmospheres, from bustling bars to trendy clubs. Night Out Restaurant Week – Fishtown, Northern Liberties, Penn’s Landing

Price: $35 per person dinner, $20 per person lunch
When: Annually in August
Participants: Explore Philadelphia’s Fishtown, Northern Liberties and Penn’s Landing neighborhoods by booking a table for Night Out Restaurant Week. And don’t think about heading back to the hotel after dinner – Sugarhouse Casino offers live music every evening during Night Out, and your receipt from dinner will earn you $10 in free play.
